CHARLOTTE, NC (March 14, 2005) - Continental Tire North America, Inc. (CTNA) will celebrate the 90th anniversary of its General Tire brand by launching three new General truck tires at the Mid-America Trucking show in Louisville, Kentucky. "We are very excited to introduce our new General tires at the number one annual forum for the trucking industry," said Clif Armstrong, CTNA's Marketing Director for the Commercial Vehicle Tires group. "General tires have established a strong position in the market as an extremely durable, high value tires. We are proud to extend our already well established product portfolio." In addition to paying tribute to General Tire brand's new products and historic anniversary, CTNA will be displaying a full array of Continental brand truck tires at its booth #431/East Wing. The 2005 Mid-America Trucking Show will be held from March 31-April 2 at the Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center.
