Principle of operation

The module controls a continuously variable transmission over 3 solenoid valves. These valves regulate the transmission ratio and the forwards/backwards clutch as well as activating the clutch cooling and the emergency valve. The sensor system detects diverse variables as follows:

• Temperature sensor to register the oil temperature
• Pressure sensors to register the clutch pressure and the torque sensor pressure
• Hall sensors to register rotational speed
• Hall sensors to register the selector lever position
