From floating caliper (FN) to frame-design caliper (FNR)

As the result of further development we are aiming at a steady increase of the braking performance together with improvements in respect of space requirements and weight. Thus FNR calipers allow the installation of large brake disks for the same wheel dimensions. The demand for bigger brake-pad area is met by the caliper types 2FNV-AL and 2FNRV-AL each of which has 4 individual pads in a V-pattern. All caliper types offer the known positive FN features. In addition, the use of aluminum brings about a clear reduction in weight.
