Nowadays we can offer electronic control units with up to 24 ignition outputs in series production with conventional technology. The potential of new firing and sensor bus systems makes it possible to increase the number of firing outputs to up to 36 or even more.

The Restraint System Bus (RSB) for the activation of any number of ignition stages. The first generation of the RSB uses intelligent ignition units (IZEs) based on the Bo Te Standard as an interface to the initiators. In a second generation, development is based on the BST-Standard, where functionality will be expanded to include high speed sensors and smart peripheral devices.
