“Go Ahead! would like to take advantage of the increased focus on Southern Africa with the 2010 FIFA World CupTM to draw attention to the AIDS problem amongst young South Africans. In Port Elizabeth, South Africa, we have a tire plant with more than 1,600 employees. With this in mind, we are pleased to help this project link HIV education with football, thus making as many persons as possible aware of the problem,” says Continental spokesman Alexander Lührs. Go Ahead! thus calls upon all German citizens to put on creative and unusual events to collect money for the charitable project on these days.
