"Facebook has developed into the leading social media platform. In order to reach the many soccer fans amongst the users directly, we decided to run the game exclusively as an interactive Facebook application," explains Dirk Rockendorf, Head of eBusiness for Passenger and Light Truck Tires. "On the one hand, we also reach the younger, Internet-savvy users; on the other hand, the application spreads like wildfire because the participants can easily invite their Facebook friends and other Internet users to play ContiTireKick or to create their own levels using the normal applications."
