Continental today announced that the commercial tyre service provider, Tructyre, has joined the ContiNetwork.

As a new ContiNetwork Partner, Tructyre is joining a nationwide network of independent truck tyre dealers that provide local, regional and national fleets with individually tailored tyre management services and rapid-response tyre breakdown assistance. Backed by Continental, the ContiNetwork gives fleet operators access to more than 200 truck tyre service locations and a fleet of over 500 mobile service vans, operating across mainland UK and Northern Ireland.

ContiNetwork membership gives Tructyre an exclusive territory - covering parts of Hampshire, Surrey and West Sussex - to provide expert service to Continental's growing base of national and regional truck fleet customers. Tructyre, who have always been a strong supporter of the Continental truck tyre range, will also be using its ContiNetwork Partner status to grow its own base of local fleet customers.

Since its formation in 1996, Tructyre has become a major force in Southern England. It serves over 350 customers and is responsible for more than 3000 vehicles and trailers. Tructyre’s Commercial Service Centre, based in Winchester, has 3 commercial bays, offering axle alignment equipment for all types of commercial vehicles and trailers, static and dynamic commercial balancing, tyre repair and fitting facilities. Their location provides Tructyre with easy access to the southern ports as well as the M3 and M27 motorways and A34 and A303 trunk roads.

Tructyre's fleet of 31 dedicated service vehicles are operated by fully trained City and Guilds commercial fitters, and fully equipped to offer 'on site' commercial tyre fitting services, which include balancing, alignment, regrooving and general maintenance.
