A new TV advertisement featuring a goalkeeper with incredible stopping power, has officially kicked-off Continental Tyres' sponsorship of the 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany TM. The advertisement, scheduled to run during the first half of this year, features VfB Stuttgart goalkeeper Timo Hildebrand and will be hard to miss. It is supported by a multi-million pound budget that will ensure it broadcast widely on ITV1 & 2, Channel 4, Channel 5 and across the Sky Network in the UK. In addition, it is also being widely used in other markets throughout Europe. Tim Bailey, Marketing Services Manager at Continental Tyres said: "The FIFA World Cup is a global spectacle that will let us communicate the Continental brand to existing and potential customers on an unprecedented scale. The 2002 FIFA World Cup was watched by almost 30 billion people worldwide."
