The editors of the auto motor und sport trade journal in Germany had a close look at seven sealant sets. The result: the ContiComfortKit, a combination of sealant and compressor, clearly came out ahead of its competitors. The system from Continental was the only product to be ranked "highly recommended", with the set receiving 95 of 100 evaluation points. The second place model ended up with 85 points.

The auto motor und sport journal tested three different sealant systems, including convenient solutions with built in compressor or gas bottle, squeeze solutions in which sealant is manually put into the tyre and the tyre then reinflated using a seperate compressor, as well as tyre inflating bottles. The convenient solutions were clearly at the top of the findings. The editors did not recommend any of the tyre inflating bottles.

The ContiComfortKit has had excellent reviews in the UK press receiving a 4 out of 5 star rating from both Auto Express and Fast Car Magazine.
