The ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) is an international system to manage environment. The system calls for all aspects of our operation to be assessed for environmental impacts and actions taken to address any significant risks. The core structureof the systems calls pushes forward for continuous improvements. In this respect, this standard has benefitted CST PJ significantly to reduce environmental impacts generated from its operation and hence increase efficiency of our operations. CST PJ has been certified for this standard since 2002. The outcome of the audit: Zero non-conformity was identified; however we received 5 Opportunity For Improvement recommendations. In view of this good results, CST PJ have been recommended for continued certification by SIRIM.
