Earlier in the year, the National Kidney Foundation (NKF) conducted health screening tests for the employees of Continental Sime Tyre PJ Sdn. Bhd. (CST). The health screening test was repeated in May this year.

When NKF knocked on CST’s doors in October, requesting for tyres for their mobile unit, no hesitation was given.

The Continental HSR M tyres were fitted onto the bus at one of the BestDrive outlets in Selangor. The HSR M is a rib-designed tyre for all-position service for the highway and all-round condition. Its all-purpose tread pattern provides mileage and abrasion resistance in all-position service while the stone ejection system reduces stone retention and casing penetration. In addition, its multi-purpose tread compound with extended wear resistance and multi-layer tread compound design provides good rolling resistance and wear performance, thus allowing the vehicle to achieve the lowest overall driving cost.

On hand to receive the tyres were Mr. Chua Hong Wee, Chief Executive Officer of NKF and Ms. Sharleen Lee, Public Education Manager of NKF.
