The potentials of hybrid technology for emissions and fuel consumption reduction result from the  combination of following functions:

  • Electric driving
  • Downsizing of combustion engine
  • Regenerative Braking: Parts of the braking energy will be covered by the generator function of the hybrid system.
  • Start/Stop function: Automatic engine turn off at vehicle stop.
