With the ContiComfortKit, Continental is offering a new type of handy breakdown set that quickly and reliably restores mobility in the case of a damaged tire. The leading German chassis and tire specialist has developed a handy and reliable solution to help car drivers quickly get out of the dangerous situation presented by a flat tire.

After the kit has been used, it is no problem to drive the car to the next garage. An extra benefit of the ContiComfortKit is that it can also be used as a compressor to pump up car and bike tires, beach balls or air mattresses.

The set, which weighs just 2 ½ kilograms, consists of a small box 24 centimeters long, 18 centimeters wide and barely 10 centimeters high. Inside the box there is a compressor and the tire sealing agent. To get a flat tire ready for the trip to the next garage, the box does not need to be opened - a hose is just connected to the tire valve. An electric cable is then plugged into the cigarette lighter and the sealing agent and air can be filled into the tire. The driver does not come in contact with the sealing agent. Thanks to an illuminated pressure gage, it is possible to fill the tire to the correct pressure even at night. Operating instructions with an illuminated background show the driver how to use the breakdown set correctly, making the ContiComfortKit significantly faster and easier to use than conventional systems.
