Uniroyal RainSport 2
Uniroyal's new RainSport 2 has been on the market since last year, following in the brand's successful tradition of sporty rain tires. The combination of safety on wet roads, excellent grip for better handling and short braking distances all go to show that further progress is possible in the development of rain tires. The base and sides of the grooves have been restructured. This, together with the V-shaped tread pattern, sees to it that water is channelled out of the contact patch even faster. Thanks to the tire’s special silica compound, even higher deceleration values are possible than in the past. The new RainSport 2 is now on sale in 51 different sizes, with approvals for speeds of up to 300 km/h (187 mph).

Uniroyal rallye 4x4 street
Developed mainly for on-road use, the Uniroyal rallye 4 x 4 street closely resembles the successful Uniroyal RainSport product line in appearance. A second carcass layer gives the tire an extremely robust construction. The higher load index this allows for caters to the heavier weight of many SUVs. Uniroyal's new 4 x 4 tyre is also a genuine rain tyre. Thanks to its specially designed contour and the double arrowhead tread pattern, it quickly expels water from the contact patch, thereby ensuring excellent aquaplaning resistance. The silica compound was developed specifically for SUV tyres and ensures short braking distances on both wet and dry roads.
