Maximum aquaplaning protection

To ensure that a tyre remains in contact with the road surface when it's wet, it must displace the water on the roads as quickly as possible.

The RainSport 1 offers maximum aquaplaning safety. Its double-V tread pattern guarantees optimal water displacement, across both the length and the width.

Low heat level

At high speeds, the build-up of heat must be kept to a minimum. The flat contour of the RainSport 1 results in a broader ground contact patch and a more even distribution of the ground pressure. This enables better transmission of the force, and the heat level remains low.

High level of stability

When corners are taken at high speeds, enormous forces act on the tyre. The wide shoulder of the RainSport 1 counteracts these forces effectively. It offers a large area for supporting und transmitting the forces, and thereby provides for precise steering performance and stability.

The RainSport 1 size range is completely covered by its successor, the RainSport 2.
