Why new tyres are preferable to used ones!

New tyres offer benefits that go beyond just appearance! In addition to the improved safety they provide thanks to their full tread depth, new tyres are also quieter and roll more comfortably. New tyres are checked very thoroughly by the manufacturer, thereby guaranteeing optimum safety for you and your vehicle.

We strongly advise against purchasing used tyres from sources such as car breakers. There is no way of knowing how they were treated previously or whether, for example, the tyre inner has been damaged by driving sharply over kerbstones, which might mean the tyre could burst.

Please note:We strongly advise running the tyres in at a moderate speed for the first 200-300 kms (125-185 miles). This roughens the tread surface, enabling the tyre to achieve its full performance.
