In the current summer tyre tests being run by the German motoring association ADAC and the motoring magazines 'ams' and 'AutoBild', Semperit's summer tyres were rated as "recommended". That means these alpine-proven tyres have come away well in the most elaborate product tests run by the trade press.

Two different sizes - 195/55 R15 V and 185/60 R14 H - of the Speed-Comfort participated in the tyre test published in issue 03/2003 of the magazine 'ADAC motorwelt'. This comparative test included such main features as braking performance, aquaplaning prevention, handling and mileage.

The low rolling resistance and the balanced all-round characteristics of the Semperit Speed-Comfort were two aspects highlighted by the ADAC tyre testers.

The Direction-Sport size 205/55 R16 W was included in the tyre test run by the motoring magazine 'auto motor und sport' and was also awarded the rating "recommended". It gained the same result in the test carried out by the magazine 'AutoBild', which examined size 205/55 R16 V tyres from 11 different manufacturers.The strong points of the Direction-Sport: "balanced, safe handling characteristics on both wet and dry roads, good braking performance, low rolling noise."
