Continental has expanded tire retreading for commercial vehicles again. In addition to the production of ContiTread tread liners for cold retreading, Continental is also using CONTIRE hot retreading. Enormous economic benefit can be gained with qualified tire management.

Continental’s commercial vehicle tire operations benefited from the positive development of the European transport industry in the 2007 business year just ended. The commercial vehicle tires division grew faster than the market in this period. Original equipment business increased considerably while replacement business continued to expand its market shares in Europe.
