Only one year on the market and already the winning choice: ContiTrailAttack beat the competition in a major off-road tyre test in the leading German magazine MOTORRAD!

Issue 11/2008 of MOTORRAD makes it official: ContiTrailAttack is momentarily the best tyre for big off road-tourers like BMW R 1200 GS or Suzuki V-Strom. In this major comparison the ContiTrailAttack took first place overall, beating the competition thoroughly. In the categories behaviour on dry roads and the evaluation for wear, Conti posted best notes and achieved a total points’ sum of 329 from a possible maximum of 400. In comparison: second place was taken by Metzeler Tourance EXP with only 299 points.

But it was not only in safety aspects the Conti took points, like in the category braking, where the Conti tyre stopped to a standstill from 100kph after only 41 metres. This is a deceleration of 9.4m/s², also best in class. When it comes to wear, an important factor for world-travellers who want to keep on going for thousands of kilometres without stopping for tedious tyre changes, ContiTrailAttack showed a calculated life-span of 8,871 kilometres for the rear and 12,927 kilometres for the front, taking first place.
