Successful start to the European road show:

Continental Industrial Tires Innovation Tour 2007

Hanover, April 2007. On April 19th Continental, the market leader for industrial tires, launched the 'Continental Industrial Tires Innovation Tour 2007' road show in Unterföhring, Bavaria, with a wide range of product innovations. For the opening of the tour, Continental's distribution staff gathered from right across Europe to learn about the latest tire systems in a presentation held by the heads of marketing and sales, as well as by members of R&D. The focus here was on the new CSE SC 20 and the Tubeless Sealing Ring (TSR for short) for use with tubeless radial tires. Rounding off the presentations were important innovations like the well-known CSEasy rim/tire system. The spotlight that day was also on Continental's new and elaborately styled road show vehicles, which were officially handed over to the distribution staff towards the end of the day, for the start of the tour.

Since the start of the Continental Industrial Tires Innovation Tour 2007, 15 Mecedes Vito are on the road in Europe for twelve weeks to present the innovations to the customers and partners.
