The MOVIMAT fair was held from August 8 to 11 2006 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. MOVIMAT is the most important materials handling fair in Latin America which takes place every 2 years. More than 25,000 visitors and 200 exhibitors attended the fair which included all major international forklift manufacturers’.

The most important topics of MOVIMAT were material handling and warehousing, supply chain management, transportation, logistics and industrial engineering.

Competitors and customers marvelled in particular at the new CSEasy and the mixture of the products presented at the Continental Industrial Tires stand, for example the ConRad, ConRadHT, SC18, SC15 Clean and the IC40.

“Still” presented a concept forklift fitted with the Continental SFR 3000 concept tire.

Besides forklifts, the show presented related products such as attachments, batteries, tires, forks and much more. The Brazilian forklift market is the biggest in South America with more than 8,000 new forklift sales in 2006.
