Conditions for participating

On the Industiral Tires Division pages, Continental AG (Continental) is offering an E-learning platform on both the intranet and Internet. Participation in taking these tests is based on the following conditions:

§ 1 Registration & Data Protection

Continental will save the participant's information in digital form when he/she participates in these tests. To participate via the Internet, a password issued by Continental's Sales and Marketing employees is required in advance to log on. To participate via the Internet, your company name, your name, the industry sector, e-mail, country and number of tests previously taken is required.

There is no requirement for being awarded a log-in or password.

To participate over the intranet, your name, division, group, location and number of tests previously taken on the Intranet is required.

There is no requirement for registering.

Regarding a participant's registered information, Continental is committed to adhering to legal regulations regarding data protection and media. Data will be treated confidentially.

§ 1 a Consent for Data to be Stored

A participant's consent to allow his/her personal information to be stored is a prerequisite for taking the tests. By registering, the participant expressly agrees to allow Continental to store his/her personal information for the duration of the E-Learning activities and until they are over.

§ 1 b Consent to Contact

A participant's consent to allow Continental to contact him/her is a prerequisite for taking the tests. You hereby agree to allow your data to be used to contact you in the event you pass a test.

§ 1 c Possibility for Withdrawing Consent

The participant can at any time withdraw his/her consent regarding storage of personal information and to being contacted and therefore withdraw from taking the tests by sending an e-mail that includes his/her name to mariam.harms-diallo@conti.de.

The participant's information will be deleted immediately upon receipt of the withdrawal.

§ 2 Tests

After logging in/registering, the participant can take the test once. In the event the participant fails the test, he/she is allowed to repeat the test the following week.

There are no time constraints in taking a test.

The tests will be evaluated shortly after being taken allowing the participants find out the score they received on the test.

§ 3 Legal liability

Continental is not liable for corrections or any other services within the scope of these tests. These tests are taken voluntarily and do not constitute entitlement to anything as a result of being passed.

§ 4 Miscellaneous

All decisions are final. Conti can modify these conditions for participation at any time.
