Edge detection

In industrial and agricultural environments, it is frequently necessary to detect the edges of the respective objects and determine positions in positioning processes and when guiding vehicles. These functions can be obtained by A.D.C. sensors. They scan objects without reflectors and measure velocity, reflectance and distance.

With the acquired data, a control system can use the coordinates to position objects or to guide a vehicle along a detected edge.
