Dynamics and precision are crucial for measuring pure distance in industrial environments. These characteristics are also required where targets without reflectors are concerned.

These criteria are ideally supported by A.D.C. sensors, as they

• feature high dynamics and
• are capable of taking accurate measurements from targets with and without reflectors

at great distances.

With these characteristics, it is possible to determine contours, perform extremely fast measuring procedures and acquire natural targets.

When measuring pure distance, the capability of the sensor, in addition to dynamics and precision,  to mathematically combine dynamics with the data from single distance measurements per time and to return this reading as a velocity is also decisive. A.D.C. sensors are capable of doing just this.
