03/15/2007 Attractive games to play plus tickets to be won on Continental's website www.ContiFanWorld.com Hanover, March 2007. In the run-up to UEFA EURO 2008TM, Continental has completely re-designed its fan portal www.ContiFanWorld.com and is now offering a brand new game - ContiSpeedSoccer - where two players can compete against one another. The game lasts for two minutes and whoever scores the most goals within this time is the winner. Apart from the enormous fun element of the game, it is worth participating, because in addition to other attractive prizes for the best 100 players, a draw will be held each month with two tickets to be won for a group phase match at UEFA EURO 2008TM. The new ContiFanWorld site is generally encouraging more interaction between the fans. There are community areas, for example, where every registered user can see who is currently online on the website. All registered users can send each other messages and challenge one another to a game, like with ContiSpeedSoccer. "We are convinced that our online community will be enthusiastic about the new-look ContiFanWorld, which has seen heavy use since its launch in December 2003. By the end of the 2006 FIFA World Cup™, we had over 200,000 registered users from more than 200 countries" explained Dirk Rockendorf, head of eBusiness for the Car Tires Replacement Market at Continental AG. "The new functions are in line with users' requests to be able to contact other fans online directly." One important new development for us is the FanPass, where users can provide details of their favourite football club and players, plus a photo of themselves, as well as the standard information such as user name and country. The FanPass is accessible to all other users and each user can create his own avatar. The ContiFanWorld website is available in English, German, Spanish, French, Italian and Dutch. Approximately every four months up to June 2008 new games will follow - ContiKickerDuell, ContiQuizDuell, ContiSoccer-Challenge, La Ola, ContiOnlineCup and ContiFanTip - with most of these games being designed for several players. ContiFanworld is also constantly updated with info on developments relating to qualifications for UEFA EURO 2008TM, plus Continental's football-related activities. The Continental Corporation is a leading automotive supplier of tires, brake systems, chassis components, vehicle electronics and technical elastomers. In 2006 the corporation realised sales of EUR14.9 billion. At present it has a worldwide workforce of approximately 85,000. The tire divisions are an Official Sponsor of UEFA EURO 2008TM, which will be held in Austria and Switzerland in June 2008, and of the UEFA European Under‑21 Championship, to be held in Holland in June 2007.
