Our all-purpose weapon.     

The X-King version (pronounced cross king) completely covers the gap between Race and Mountain King. The voluminous 2.4 casing offers superior absorption, but remains light enough to roll reasonably under race conditions.

This tire, however, shows its true strength during marathons or extended tours. The X-King is incredibly fast for a relatively aggressive pattern, and is equally at home on hard as well as loose terrain.

The shoulder lugs provide predictable, super glue hook under high-speed cornering, while the symmetrical center section yields excellent straight-line climbing and braking traction. Developed with the professionals of the Topeak Ergon Team and is the declared favorite tire of German XC Champion Wolfram Kurschat.
