The use of the Grand Prix 26x1 for road use of a MTB is a pretty good idea. Originally a 25 mm wide tire should be used on rims of up to 17 mm inner width. But because the Grand Prix 26x1 is to be used on MTB rims we designed it to fit on 19 mm wide rims as well. This should be suitable for most common MTB rims in use.
