Bicycle races - pure fascination!

Professional road racing, that means Belgian spring classics, endless climbs in the Alps at Tour de France and wild sprints in stages of Giro d'Italia. Anyway it means world class performance at physical and technological limits.

Legendary heroes like Jan Ullrich, Erik Zabel, Bradley Wiggins, Axel Merckx, Robbie McEwen or Peter van Petegem ride on Continental tires from one victory to another.

In the season 2005 we team up with Team T-Mobile (Germany), Credit Agricole (France), and Saunier Duval (Spain). We are looking forward to an exciting year!

The most favored tire of the pros is our model Competition 22. For the race Paris Roubaix the teams chose the Competition 25.

In training all professionals use continental tires of the Grand-Prix family. Thereto belong the tires Grand Prix 3000, Grand Prix, Grand Prix 4-Season and new: the tireset Grand Prix Attack & Grand Prix Force. Their tires are identical in all aspects to the tire which thousands of serious hobby racer worldwide ride.

Very important for us is the joint development of new tires together with our pro teams. For example the Duraskin-technology.

In the winter time the professionals use the Grand Prix 4-Season. Due to his compound he is specifically optimized for wet weather grip, low temperatures and extended tread life.
