Applications include transfer case controls, differential locks and hang-on clutch systems plus application software. Again, our customers can choose from either stand-alone solutions or attached-to modules. To enable solutions that are even more compact and easier to install, we are developing a 4WD transfer-case control unit that is attached directly to the inside of the transfer case. This integrated transfer case actuator unit comprises a 16-bit microcontroller on a high-temperature PCB, an ASIC controlled brushless DC actuator motor, angle position sensor and housing in a single mechatronic unit.
