Shortest response times to consumer electronics trends The Multi Media Platform functions with standard hardware and software components, which are combined to satisfy the specific requirements and adapted to provide the range of functions the respective system requires. The MMP can thus be flexibly used in various vehicle models and types, with a wide scale of solutions from simple systems to sophisticated high-end units. Thanks largely to its modular setup, new trends and developments in consumer electronics can be integrated into the MMP with equal ease. To connect extra services, Internet applications and new functions like Microsoft Virtual Earth™, these individual software modules are simply interchanged. Architecture: separated to create a new unit The Multi Media Platform makes use of scalable hardware and flexible and updatable software based on the Microsoft Auto™ operating system. The MMP system is seperated into an Automotive and a Consumer Electronics domain.
