Vehicle control units centrally combine all information to provide the desired torque demand, no matter whether the information comes from the driver or from various systems such as the transmission or the ACC sensor.
Based on all this information a desired troque is calculated and transmitted via CAN bus to the engine's fuel injection system electronics. The same approach is applied to control the use of the various brake systems in the truck as an overall management.
