The DATS concept by Continental offers the optimal platform for driver assistance systems. Camera and radar/laser based sensor signals are linked to one control module performing as a safety gateway to the vehicle bus structure.The performance, supervision and diagnostic configuration of the control module has been designed to manage safety functions, such as the Emergency Brake Assist.
