Continental increases prices for passenger and light truck tires in response to continuous increase in raw material prices

Hanover, March 23rd, 2011. In response to the continuous price increase for the main types of natural rubber and other compounds used in the production of passenger and light truck tires, Continental AG will be increasing the prices for all passenger and light truck tires in the European replacement market, effective as of May 1st, 2011. The planned price increase is between 8% to 10% for winter tyres, and between 5% to 8% for summer tyres, and affects all passenger and light truck tire brands belonging to Europe's market leader. |
