For All Passenger Cars

(Hanover/Essen, June 2004) Continental, Germany's lead­ing tire manufacturer, offers a broad range of products for all types of passenger cars. A special favourite among driv­ers of sports cars, operators of tuning firms, and the veh­icle manufacturers is the ContiSportContact 2, which is produced in over 100 different sizes. This year, 15 sizes of the high-tech tire are also being produced in the optional runflat capability version. ContiPremiumContact has been developed for cars of the mid-size category upwards, while ContiEcoContact 3 is a top performer for the compact car category, delivering short braking distances and a low rolling resistance. Extensive OE approvals are available for both tires.

The ContiSportContact 2: Sports tire – also with runflat capabilities

ContiSportContact 2 was specially developed for fast sports cars and outshines other sports tires thanks to its precise steering response and high cornering stability right up to its limits. In addition, the high-tech tire from Continental provides maximum braking performance on wet and dry roads. Aquaplaning resistance of the ContiSportContact 2 is likewise very good.

No wonder that this sports tire is meanwhile the first choice of vehicle manufacturers and tuners for virtually all sports cars and prestigious sedans. The range is comprehensive, with an im­pressive spectrum of over 100 different versions and sizes - indeed one of the biggest range of sports tires for one brand in the market. This year, the ContiSportContact 2 is being manu­factured for the first time as a Continental SSR model. SSR tires have runflat capabilities and are above all suitable for Porsche, Mercedes and BMW cars.

ContiPremiumContact: Specialist for the medium-size to luxury category vehicles

This high-tech tire adapts itself to every driving situation and guarantees outstanding road adhesion, not only on bends but also during braking maneuvers. The tread structure offers maxi­mum aquaplaning resistance by quickly channeling water away from the tire's contact patch. Moreover, tire rolling noise has been reduced to a minimum. The ContiEcoContact 3 for the compact class

Launched in March last year, the ContiEcoContact 3 offers short braking distances on wet and dry roads, a low rolling resistance and high mileage performance. Such characteristics of the tire made by Germany's leading tire manufacturers, Continental, are a fine measure of safety and economy. ContiEcoContact 3 can be had in 20 different sizes. Since market introduction, it thus provides an ideal possibility for almost all compact-category cars to convert to a reliable fuel economizer. This tire is auto-industry approved as original equipment.
