The main merits of this Barum tyre for MPVs and light vans are economy and impressive mileage performance, combined with very good handling and extensive aquaplaning protection. It is therefore particularly suited to the requirements of commercial usage. The tyre's sturdy ribbed structure and its flat belt contour contribute to its extremely long life, which also makes it easy on the wallet. The combination of these design elements means particularly even wear. Two rugged central ribs and the numerous lug edges ensure outstanding grip when cornering, plus optimum steering performance. Three wide and deep circumferential drainage grooves disperse water effectively, thereby reducing the risk of aquaplaning.

The Barum Vanis was designed for speeds of up to 210 km/h (131 mph). There are 25 sizes available for 14", 15" and 16" rims. The three following sizes were added this year:

• 175/75 R 16 C 101/99 R
• 215/75 R 16 C 116/114 R
