Snow, ice and winter roads lie at the heart of Gislaved´s world. With our Nord*Frost and Soft*Frost tyres we have set standards for a modern winter tyre. Once again the great success has inspired our researches and technicians to develop the Gislaved Soft*Frost2.

Winter performance:

High structured directional pattern ensures best traction and braking. Wide grooves guarantee the best traction for a maximum side grip during cornering. Sinusoidal sipes for best side grip and increased block stiffness ensure best handling performance. Pockets in the shoulder design improve driving in deep snow.

Dry performance:

Excellent steering response and accuracy is ensured by a strong centre rib with HIS-sipes. Read more of the patented HIS-system in the technical details. Strong shoulder blocks with sinusoidal sipes result in excellent stability during lane change manoeuvers (for instance Elk test). Compact half middle blocks with sinusoidal sipes transmit lateral forces.

Wet performance:

Directional pattern with widening lateral grooves ensures the best drainage of the footprint area and reduces the risk of slushplaning.
