The Powertrain division focuses on products and system solutions related in one way or another to the vehicle powertrain, such as engine management, injection technology, sensors and actuators. The goal of the division is not only to make driving more affordable and environmentally friendlier but also to enhance comfort and driving pleasure. Powertrain is broken down into seven business units:

• Gasoline Systems – e.g. engine management systems, fuel modules
• Diesel Systems – e.g. piezo common rail systems, components for SCR applications
• Hybrid Electric Drives – e.g. systems and components for energy management.
• Transmission – e.g. control units and modules for automatic transmission
• Electronics – e.g. electronics for powertrain management
• Sensors – e.g. speed, pressure and exhaust gas sensors
• Actuators, Motor Drives & Fuel Supply – e.g. fuel supply, air and emission management
