"Engineers work to develop economical and safe solutions to practical problems - but students build racecars" |
|
Since 2007 the KA-RaceIng team participate in the Formula Student competition. Students of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science and industrial engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) develop and produce a new racecar each year to participate in different Formula Student competitions in Europe. In 2010 the first electric racecar of KA-RaceIng, the KIT10e will start at the Formula Student Electric in Hockenheim. By taking part in this new competition, we are facing the challenge to build two race cars in one season and to be successful in both parallel competitions. We want to improve our recent successes and implement further innovations. |
