We are better!

During Prof. Dr. Roßmanek´s stay in Oxford – England, he was confronted with the topic of Formula Student. So in the end of 1999 the “student-racing team” established at the University of Applied Science in Stralsund as the first German Formula Student Team. The young racing team already managed to present their first racing car, the “TY2000”, on 30. June 2000 and so heralded the era of German Formula Student teams.

Our highly defined goal in the past and even today is to improve the efficiency, reliability and innovation potential of our racing cars as well as winning the competitions of the Formula Student SAE with the help of an interdisciplinary working of involved, competent and highly motivated students.

Out of a very ambitious plan the basis for a successful past, present and future was set. Thereby it is our motivation to educate ourselves, so that we can fulfill our personal and high expectations as well as to represent our partners and sponsors in the best way.
