Process Technology / Chemical Engineering

You need the expertise of process technicians and chemical engineers to produce chemical products. Whereas chemical engineers mainly focus on the chemical processes, process technicians are involved with the equipment and the relevant technology required for this. The study combines wide-ranging, industry-neutral, scientific-technical skills with specialist process technology knowledge, complemented by business management principles. The course conveys current and practical content.

Degrees

  • Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Science
  • Depending on the course, you may also take part in a Chamber of Commerce program leading to an apprenticeship qualification.

The locations work with various universities and vocational schools.

Process

  • Study at the associated university or vocational school
  • Practical phases in companies, some with apprenticeship qualifications
  • Some international internships at a Continental plant
  • Participation in additional measures (seminars, language teaching, tours etc.)
  • Three-month Bachelor dissertation produced in connection with a current task in the company
