Mechanical Engineering

Mechanical engineering is one of the most important engineering disciplines. Your course will initially convey mathematical and scientific principles. In later semesters you will then specialize in one of the numerous specialist areas. In addition, exciting projects in the business training phases enable you to implement the theoretical knowledge you have gained in practice. There are various ways to use the course later: For example in research and development, design, industrial engineering, testing, sales, providing support for our international locations.

Degrees

  • Bachelor of Engineering
  • Depending on the course, you may also take part in a Chamber of Commerce program leading to an apprenticeship qualification.

Cooperation partners

The locations work with various universities and vocational schools.

Process

  • Study at the associated university or vocational school
  • Practical phases in companies, some with apprenticeship qualifications
  • Some international internships at a Continental plant
  • Participation in additional measures (seminars, language teaching, tours etc.)
  • Three-month Bachelor dissertation produced in connection with a current task in the company

6 - 8 semesters (depending on the location/course)
