Electronic technician for devices and systems (m/f)

Specialists in this field inspect and gauge equipment and systems using state-of-the-art technology and tools, some of which they produce themselves. This is why they must have an extensive amount of knowledge and skills in the field of electrical engineering, energy and communications technology as well as metal processing skills.

Specific tasks:

  • Producing and operating the most state-of-the-art testing and gauging equipment
  • Assuring that all electrical and electronic equipment function trouble-free
  • Supporting developers in the realization of assignments
  • Producing proto-types and unique samples
  • Preparing layouts and manufacturing documents
  • Issuing and coordinating purchase orders for procuring assembly parts, tools and supplies
  • Planning and coordinating production sequences
  • Installing, programming, optimizing and maintaining manufacturing and testing equipment
  • Analyzing and optimizing manufacturing processes
  • Testing and commissioning components and devices

Requirements:

  • Qualifying certificate of secondary education

Length of training:

  • 3.5 years
