Technical product designer

Technical product designers support engineers in developing products. Their work starts as soon as a customer suggests an idea for a new product. The sketches, designs and design documents must be produced by computer using 3D CAD software, in particular. Technical production designers are also often involved in supervising processes up to the test phase, providing support for prototypes and series production, and even managing entire projects.
