Textile cord (Fabric) Cutting and splicing machine
|
Fully automatic cutting, splicing and winding CM Fabric cutting and splicing machine The textile cord cutting and splicing machine from CM guarantees fully automatic operation to unwind coated textile cord from bales which is then cross-cut at 90°, overlapped, spliced and wound up to cassettes.
Functional description A compensating loop controls the fabric let-off station as a function of the shearing capacity. More than 20 cuts per minute Machine components Let-off facility The let-off station with let off rolls and festoon loop can be used to unwind both cassettes and bale-loaded carriages. Rewinding and splicing facilities are available as options. Cutting machine Precise fabric advance is guaranteed by a cutting machine table consisting of a pair of feed rollers and a belt conveyor. The fabric plies are cut by guillotine shears especially developed for this machine and operating by a drawn swing cut in conjunction with a self-adjusting lower blade.
Transfer mechanism and belt conveyor A vacuum system transports the cut strips from the cutting machine table to a transverse belt conveyor, depositing them centrally onto the belt. The vacuum system with linear axle is driven by a three-phase servomotor. An existing mains or separate vacuum pump can be used for vacuum generation. Splicer and draw-off roll A combination of mechanical stops and non-contact scanners position the beginning and end of the strips to give the desired 3 mm overlap.
Wind up station The strips are controlled by a compensating loop while they are wound onto two cassettes mounted in tandem thus ensuring continuous operation. Control The design of the electrical control conforms with current EN guidelines. Machine operation is controlled by a freely programmable control system from Beckhoff.
The following operating modes are possible:
