The mobile and extremely compact CO₂ Automatic Mould Cleaning Machine ensures an efficient and speedy removal of residue inside the tire mould without the need of having to remove it from the curing press. A specially designed sound-proof feature inside the Automatic Mould Cleaning Machine restricts the noise emission at close range to as little as 84 dB(A).

Once the Automatic Mould Cleaning Machine is attached to the curing press, a robot arm, equipped with a nozzle, will initiate the automatic cleaning sequence of the upper part of the mould. While the 30 minutes long automatic cleaning sequence is in progress, all remaining residue may be removed manually from the bottom sidewall of the adjacent mould.
This efficient way of mould cleaning results in a quick and thorough removal of residue from two sets of tire moulds in just an hour. Sufficient ventilation, however, should be provided at all times.

Work procedure

• Move the fork-lift towards the opened curing press
• Connect pressurised air supply and mains to the Automatic Mould Cleaning Machine
• Bring the cleaning head into an exact position via the aid of the detachable control panel
• Fill the pellet container
• Activate and initiate the cleaning sequence

Components

1. Specially designed fork-lift

The specially designed fork-lift forms the basis of the mobile Automatic Mould Cleaning Machine. A storage battery operated engine ensures an overall mobility of the Automatic Mould Cleaning Machine at all times.

2. Detachable control panel

The detachable control panel of the fork-lift guarantees a precise horizontal and vertical positioning of the cleaning head. An internal swivel device supports the positioning even further.

3. CO2 cleaning appliance

The name of a renowned maker of CO₂ cleaning appliances sets the high standard for the internal cleaning device of the Automatic Mould Cleaning Machine. A function to safeguard an incessant flow of pellets will automatically interrupt the cleaning sequence should the pellet container be empty.

6. Robot arm

Given the fact that the robot arm has the ability to move and rotate freely, this will automatically result in a more efficient removal of tire residue from the mould.
