At innovative companies like Continental, highly qualified employees are vital. Fluctuation carries the risk of a loss of expertise. We try to commit our qualified technical and management personnel to the Company through incentive programs, performance-based remuneration systems, and by offering international development prospects. We find qualified new recruits by maintaining close contact with universities and by running special recruitment programs. Continental Corporation is a global company. For this reason, our employees come from various cultural backgrounds. Risks from deliberate illegal acts by individuals cannot be excluded. We reduce these risks by employing an internal control system, which consists of a segregation of functions, dual control, procedural guidelines in force throughout the Corporation, and our Code of Conduct. The corporate internal audit department monitors this control system. We systematically investigate any possible misconduct. |
