As in previous years, the R&D employees at the Hanover-Stöcken location have organized a pre-Christmas activity for children who come from financially deprived and needy families. Because many of these families simply cannot afford to buy Christmas presents for their children. So this year, the Continental employees were giving the kids “Christmas in a Shoe Box”. All employees working at the Hanover locations were asked to make a shoe box, fill it with creative surprises and to wrap it in Christmas wrapping paper in order to make this Christmas season brighter for the kids. The Urban Homes Network in Hanover "Heimverbund der Landeshauptstadt Hannover" will then distribute the gift parcels to the families and the children’s and young people’s community living groups.
