Absences and Accident Rates

The trends for sickness absences and accident rates reflect the success of our systematic efforts in environmental, work, health, fire and corporate protection.

The number of accidents per million hours worked fell by 42% in the past six years to 4.2, and by 9% from 4.6 to 4.2 from 2010 to 2011 alone. The number of hours lost due to accidents decreased between 2006 and 2011 by 33% to 638. Between 2010 and 2011, this figure decreased by 12% from 729 to 638.
