ESH stands for “Environment”, “Security, Safety” and “Health”. Continental’s ESH Policy specifies the environmental protection standards to be observed at all stages during the product life cycle. The ESH Management Manual structures the implementation of ESH Policy goals within the divisions, production sites and development departments.

The internal Continental Audit is an important tool. It is used primarily to determine the status quo of a site and its surrounding area, to highlight any need for action, and to transfer know-how between the sites and corporate headquarters.
