You can check the level of brake fluid by looking at the transparent reservoir under the hood of your car. The level must always be between the min. and max. indicators. If the level has sunk below max. this indicates that the disc brake pads or the drum brake shoes are worn. If the level has fallen below min. this indicates that the brake system could have a leak. Don't just top it up!
